While I was on vacation in Sydney, Australia earlier this month I took a trip to the Taronga Zoo. I got to see all kinds of really great animals, and even found some time to sketch them.

Here are some some baby elephants playing around in the water.

This was my first time seeing a kamodo dragon in person. Very cool and dinosaur-like.

I was fortunate enough to go to Sydney and Melbourne in Australia for the first two weeks of October. Here's a sketch I did at the Museum of New South Wales in Sydney. I'll post some sketches from the zoo later this week.

So there's this really awesome Japanese Yakuza-looking guy who rides a chopper motorcycle and frequents the coffee shop my coworkers and I go to. I couldn't help but draw him.

Blick Art Material Live Painting.

On Sunday I was invited to the grand opening of Blick Art Materials on Market and 6th St. in San Francisco. It was a lot of fun, I wish it was every Sunday. Here are some photos taken by Steve Javiel, who was there painting with me. A lot of fun, people enjoyed it, and the work looked great!
